TLDR: The content strategies we’re seeing today were actually invented by newspapers in the 19th century. We’re the benefactors of an “attention economy” that began nearly two centuries ago; a perverse money-driven approach to information dissemination that preys on us, turning attention into a currency and commodity, and directing it toward the end of making money rather than being fruitful. TLDR: By the age of 13, a child’s basic beliefs are already formed, and on average will not change significantly for the rest of their lives. Trying to teach “worldview training” to teenagers is simply too late. The foundation is already poured and set — by how they were discipled in their earliest years.
